February 2025 Update
Life at Fuente de Esperanza
What an exciting start to the year! January and the first week of February have been filled with meaningful conversations and significant moments in our church-planting journey.
As I continue engaging with people in our community, it has become increasingly clear that there is a deep need for a healthy Hispanic, bilingual church in Clermont.
We ended January with Predica Fiel, a Simeon Trust preaching workshop, where I had the privilege of learning alongside men committed to faithfully preaching God’s Word. Through the teachings of David Helm, Alexis Pérez, and José Abella, we were encouraged and equipped for the task of gospel proclamation.
Returning from the workshop, our core team hosted our first Interest Meeting for Fuente de Esperanza. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, good food, and engaging conversations as we shared the vision for the church. Twenty-four people attended (three were new families). After the meeting, the new families expressed that they are prayerfully considering joining the church plant. We are staying connected with them, building relationships, and seeking the Lord’s direction together.
The Lord is truly at work! More and more people in our area are expressing a longing for a Hispanic, bilingual church, where they can grow in faith and community. It’s exciting to see hearts stirred and lives impacted.
